What is all included in the session? What should I expect after I book a session?

•  Once the date of the photoshoot is set, you will pay a €50 non-refundable booking fee that will go towards your session price. The remainder of the session will be due on the day of the session. 
• ALL sessions include a set number of edited images set prior to the booking.
• You will receive a link with all the photos within 2-3 weeks after your session for you to download.

Why should I choose For Now Photography?

I aim to capture the raw, emotional details of the bond between you and your loved one(s). This means that the photos that you receive from me will all not be a perfectly posed. If you want raw, natural photos, that captures you as you are, then we would be a great match! 

When is the best time to book for the photoshoot? 

For outdoor sessions, I would highly recommend booking a session around sunset. I understand when it comes to family session this may feel a little tricky with the little ones but that golden light is ALWAYS worth adjusting your schedule.

For home sessions (newborn sessions), it all depends on when the light hits your home. I would recommend observing throughout the day and see when the light comes through your master bedroom or the nursery the most. Make sure you have your lights off in the room when you do this (the overhead lights tend to make the photos more orang-ey)

How does your pricing work? 

You may be surprised at the price of the sessions. To be frank, we all have phones and devices that can snap and go and you may be wondering why pay so much for a photo? However, the photos that you will receive from me will be different than your snap-and-go pictures that you take on your phones. The photos that you will receive is not simply pressing that button but there are hours upon hours that I pour into editing the photos after the session so that they are perfect. The photos you will receive will be timeless and for generations to come. Your children will have more than a simple selfie to remember you by. 

What do I do if my child/children are not co-operating? 

Do not worry! As a mother myself, I know that children and kids do not function and behave as you would like to. As much as I will try to snap a candid photo of your family where everyone is looking at the camera, my goal is to create relaxed, fun images of you and your littles. I will aim to keep the sessions short and playful so that it will be a fun experience for all. 

I would recommend that before the day of the photoshoot, to tell your children that you will be meeting someone to hang out rather than a scheduled photoshoot. This way, they will be excited and won’t feel the need to perform in anyway. It puts less pressure on them and hopefully they will enjoy their time rather than dread needing to tag along to another one of your “errands”! 

What if I’m not confident in front of the camera?

I 100% understand how nerve wracking it is to stand in front of the camera.  I dont necessarily like standing in front of the camera myself!(Ironic I know)  But luckily for you, upon request, I will guide/ suggest where and how you can stand so that you dont look so stiff in the photos. If you need a little guidance to loosen up, I’ll be there to help! 

What should we bring? 

There is no set of prompts that you need to bring to the session. If anything, a neutral-colored blanket is always good to have on hand for those cozy sit-down shots. 

I’m not sure what to wear? Can you give me tips?

If you need/desire styling guidance, I can give you individualized tips to make sure that your outfits harmonize. What I can say for sure, right now, is that in order to have an evergreen photo that will last for generations to come, I would stay away from large logo-printed shirts or jackets. The more neutral colored your outfits are, the better chance that your outfit will harmonize in color.

Why don’t we get all the pictures you take? 

Believe me when I say you don’t want all the photos that I take. I can assure you I will not keep any good photos from you. It has taken me many hours to perfect my editing style and I make sure that you receive all the beautiful shots from the session.
